
An exterior spiral stair made completely of Mahogany will hold up to the elements
through the end of time. A low maintenance recommeded finish is to seal with
an oil finish, then apply another coat as needed, to maintain its’ original
beauty. This style is a Curvoflite standard, with a rectangular handrail and
square balusters.

Two contemporary, helical staircases were designed for
this private residence using round, red oak handrails, set
above the oak buttress caps. Upeasements provided for a smooth continuous
flow of the rails between floor levels. The buttress was covered
with fabric, and lights were installed under each tread, further
highlighting the design of the stairs. The 1’-10” inside
radius allowed for

The champagne metallic finish applied to the
metal balusters created a sleek wood and metal
combination, which harmonizes with the beauty
of clear maple. An alternating pattern of scroll
and wavy balusters was selected by the
homeowner to create drama and appeal.

This installation shows a Curvoflite 8’-6” diameter
buttress style spiral over a 7’-6” diameter, spanning
three floor levels. Our 2” x 6” handrail #R600, and
square balusters #B101, were applied to the face of
the skirt board, with straight riser brackets adding
to the contemporary design. Gallery style #2 with
an Oak fascia board was installed at the loft above
for continuity in this elegant application.

Features a 5’-0” diameter with components of the
chamfered handrail #R200, one center baluster per
tread, and all balusters were chamfered #B202.

left hand turn spiral.
